AirWeb - Web Browser for Apple TV App Reviews

I bought the app thinking about streaming websites, like tvseries.net. It shows the website and lets you choose what you wanna see, but when you get there it won’t let you see the show because the play button won’t work through the app. So far, I think that is only an issue with tvseries, but it is disappointing because that was the reason I bought the app in the first place.

This is a true 5 star app. Easy, convenient and a charm to use. Thanks for that. (A "privacy" mode would be great

I always thought comfortable browsing on TV would be impossible. Thanks for proving the opposite. Great work.

I always had problems with watching movies or television on my appleTV when they were mirrored from my macbook. It just didn´t worked properly. This app solved the problem. When you visit a website and watch a stream from it, the content appears directly on appleTV. You can now watch online content fluidly and clean. GREAT!

Version 1.2 is good, but as test user I am pleased by new features in version 1.3 beta like swipe back- and forward, use tabs and set the iPad screen in the app settings to stay on when the device is idle. Suggestions: Mirroring of the keyboard, a home button, the history and bookmarks to the airplay screen would really be appreciated! Wie in anderen Reviews zu lesen, diese App macht durchaus Sinn. Weiterer Vorteil: Browser nutzt den gesamten 16x9 Bildschirm, wo das normale Mirroring von Safari oder einem anderen Browser mittels AppleTV z.B. auf einem Samsung TV rechts und links schwarze Ränder läßt! Es wäre gut wenn auch das Mirroring von: Buttons für Home, Back, Forward, Tastatur, Bookmarks, Histories, etc. funktionieren würde bzw. man dies nach eigenen Vorstellungen aktivieren könnte.

So buggy it should be pulled and customers money returned. This product is a disgrace. Dont buy.

Great App. But it needs more features to get 5 stars. You wont find any of your bookmarks, nor any way to integrate them. But you can search on Google. On iPad, it only works in portait mode. The rest is good.

This app is really neat and I didnt expect the execution to be so well done. It works as intended and about the only complaint I have is that tilt scrolling is a bit difficult. It would be cool if that gesture has some alternative as two finger scrolling means I cant use my phone like a remote.

Looks and works great, but I cant access my Safari bookmarks.

Very easy to use app but can only open 1 page at a time, which doesnt allow to watch series in streaming because of adds that open in new windows. Can you fix that please?

Its laggy choppy kinda slow this is my extremely jacked up iphone 5 running Nitrous and all kinds of other boosters for me its laggy but not sure if coding meshes bugily with my hax handy for ipods or iphone 4s ect to mirror say to tv no point on i5 n up mirroring on phone default is flawless comparedes to this app. worth the buy regardless support a dollar thanks good source

After your last update, it all went to hell. The app doesnt work like the first time when I paid for it.

I like the intro as it makes setting up the connection quite clear. The controls are simple to learn and use. Filling in form fields didnt behave as expected. There is too much lag in transmission to the screen, a lag that is not apparent when using airplay or when streaming content from Apple or Netflix, suggesting issues with the App itself. Looking forward to improvements.

Useless app. I wish I hadnt wasted my money on it.

You cant scroll up or down the screen or click on icons properly. Not worth the $2.

Dont waste your two dollars!

I like it when I used the trial. Bought it ..... Dont like it. Doesnt seen to want to work for me. Get the page up but when I want the mode where I use iPad as a track pad ...no go. Thats why I purchased this app. Wasted my money I guess.

Stalls on every web site that I want to visit.

Perfect for browsing over the internet. Video not compatible. Get a grey screen with only voice and sound. No picture on the tv screen. Needs to be improved.
