AirWeb - Web Browser for Apple TV App Reviews

Wont play video. It changes to a play/pause control window on both the TV and iPad. Doesnt work with flash videos. Its basically a useless browser if these issues arent fixed quickly.

The interface is sluggish, sometimes the sites dont display graphics, and videos will not play. I will try for a few more days.

this app offers nothing different than safari or chrome. when you use your iphone in landscape mode, they also does the same thing. don’t waste your money

Use AirPlay in landscape. Nearly as large of display, significantly easier to navigate and is better integrated with the iPad.

This app gave me a few issues, not to mention you can basically do the same thing by just mirroring your web browser from your phone.. Im not impressed, and honestly disappointed...

I want to give this a higher rating but it just isnt there yet. When it works it does pretty well. On the other hand I make it constantly crash just simply by entering my zip code on websites. A real bummer. Also Ive come across websites that constantly keep refreshing and you cant click on anything. I also keep getting on screen tips....I know them already, thanks. I ended up just using safari with AirPlay. Question, why does the app open to set up, Every, Single, Time? If these bugs get worked out (I hope they do), Ill feel like it was $2 well spent. As it sits now, its not sorry. A crashing app is unusable and therefore worth $0.

This is the perfect solution to having a web browser on your television. Since the Apple TV does not have a native web browser, this app makes it incredibly convenient to surf the web without getting up from the sofa! All you need is an Apple TV and an iOS device and you are set! Surprisingly simple to use. It looks and works great!

Purchased app to play video on websites other than YouTube, Netflix and Hulu. Did not work.

The app works pretty well but it doesnt use the desktop version of the site and it doesnt fill the entire tv screen. Will get the job done but almost better off mirroring safari.

This app just doesnt do what it says it will. The url is not shown as you type the web address. It doesnt do anything that mirroring safari doesnt do! Simply useless!!!

This app does NOT work. Constantly crashes and locks up. DO NOT BUY

This is a must-have app for anyone who has an Apple TV. It works great and youll wonder how you ever lived without it.

I can do all I want with safari without paying for this useless app. It is merely mirroring with mouse/keyboard on your iOS device. I want a true web browser on my Apple TV so my iPad is free to use! Waste of money

Wont play any videos, no flash player support!! I want a refund!

I used this app on my iphone and it works well. I tried this on my iPad and its glitchy, random screen rotation while the iPad was laying down unmoved. Click sound is great for feed back but several times on different sites it didnt work while I tried many times to select something, even on AirWebs home page the same thing happened. A few times the arrow or mouse like feature lagged as if it was a dead battery controlling the the arrow on the screen. And the thing that kills this for me is on the iPad, it doesnt do video. Youre greeted with a fully grey screen with a large play button and a play bar. No video!

Not full screen.interface not good. Watch YouTube not desktop mode.and cant watch. Dont waste money. And this cant refund!
